Tuesday April 10th 2007, Stevlor sets off on a 20 date UK tour with EMI Recording artists, Tiny Dancers. What began as a short, sharp stint travelling with the band to film and photograph them on the road turned into a mammoth four month tour that saw them criss-cross Britain several times playing every famous venue you've ever heard of, every major festival, (Glastonbury, Camden Crawl, Brighton Great Escape, Wireless 02, Rockness, Loopallu etc), plus various BBC and XFM radio sessions, video shoots for the band's singles 'Hannah We Know' and 'Ashes And Diamonds', and the backstage, hotel and tour bus escapades that add that extra bit of colour to life up and down the motorway.
"It was one of those magic times," says Stevlor. "Every day was a photo opportunity 'cos this band always dressed and looked the part. It turned into a long tour sometimes playing two shows a day, a festival in Middlesboro at lunchtime and then a long drive to Liverpool for a gig at 9pm that evening, the 02 Wireless in Leeds and then straight to London for a sell-out midnight performance at Koko, five hours later they'd be in a mansion filming a video for the next single release. Two thirds of the way through the tour you could tell everybody was starting to lose it a little, the make-up got heavier and the glitter and lipstick applied far too generously. I even began removing bibles from hotel rooms and replacing them with bottles of lager figuring that future guests would appreciate the booze more than the book. Not all the shots from this summer tour are here but I feel these galleries show a comprehensive record and document what went on from April to September 2007, and if you happened to be staying at the Liverpool Travel Lodge that June and opened the curtains in your room to find a pair of black boxer shorts gaffa-taped to the window, they were mine, I'd stuck them there the night before to dry out in the morning sun and forgot all about them 'til we were back on the bus and halfway to Glasgow!"
