SHEFFIELD 11 features 400 full colour photographs of some of the most beautiful and striking girls of Sheffield City. All the pictures were taken over a twenty year period in an eighth floor council flat on the edge of Sheffield City centre with the book's title being taken from the postal district that the tower block is situated in.
STEVLOR:"The concept behind this project is that it features real girls and not just professional models. I've used my apartment constantly as a studio over the years and ended up with a massive archive of colour shots, some nudes, some portraits, a bit of erotic fashion etc that were just sitting there filed away and basically doing nothing. I decided that they were just too good to be left on the shelf and so put them together in book form with the only criteria being that the girls involved all had to be from Sheffield and all the shots had to be ones taken in and around the flat. I particularly like the shots that look out of the windows where you can see how much the skyline has changed over the last two decades. The girls in SHEFFIELD 11 are from all walks of life, secretaries, students, lapdancers, shop assistants, models, barmaids, a complete mix of allsorts that fit together beautifully. It's quite possible that you could walk into any bar in Sheffield and end up sitting next to one of these girls or be standing behind one in the queue at the bustop, they're real people who for a brief moment in their lifes stepped away from the normality of their jobs and careers and posed for me and are now recorded forever in a SHEFFIELD 11 snapshot."
SHEFFIELD 11 will be available in soft back book form late 2006. Continue to monitor this site for details on how to order this publication nearer its confirmed release date.
